Local Project Manager – IT

We are urgently looking for Local Project Manager – IT.
Locations: Hyderabad, India

Job Summary:

The onsite local IT Project Manager is a full time resource that help business by working with stakeholders, core IT & business IT & local vendors to support site by delivering value addition involving scope, planning, resource, capacity, budgeting, risk and issue management across entire hardware & software delivery lifecycle till infrastructure layer. Project support including IT infra hardware & software’s delivery till commissioning. Ensuring that day to day project related activities are going well in appropriate manner.

Main Accountabilities

Accountability
·         Activities/Job initiation – Support Domain/System Architects and Business IT as to correctly set the stage for successful delivery (project charter)

·         Project scheduling & delivering – establish and drive project schedule and ways of working coordinating with required teams (internal/external) in compliance to Customer’s SOPs within budget and per specification.

·         Project monitoring and reporting – Reports on project progress and project health to relevant stakeholders ensuring proactive identification of risks and related mitigation plans.

·         Stakeholder management – Identify business needs and IT contributors / stakeholders, build strong relationship with them ensuring transparency, open communication and collaboration.

·         Supplier management – lead vendor relationship end to end from evaluation, selection to delivery monitoring including invoicing follow-ups.

·         Continuous improvement – Provides input to improve / maximize value delivery to project stakeholders

·         Document Management – Prepare and execute project documents such as project assets inventory, URS, project planner, vendor documents, site specific documents in line with Customer SOP’s.

·         Infra Connectivity – Review URS, needs which comes from users & prepare architecture as per system design with high & low level design as per system architecture & get it reviewed from Customer connectivity architect inline with local Business IT/OT.

·         Server hosting platform – Prepare architecture as per system design with high & low level design as per system architecture & get it reviewed from Customer connectivity architect inline with local Business IT/OT.
Required Education / Qualifications / Skills (minimum requirements for the job) – include equivalents

·        Degree in Information Technology/relevant technical qualification

·        PM knowledge and 10+ years relevant work experience as IT Project Manager with a understanding of pharmaceutical/chemical/food industry.

·        Good understanding of IT landscape: IT infra which includes connectivity, server hosting platforms, architecture, high & low level design, knowledge of Microsoft operating platform and applications etc.

·        Good in verbal and written English; Knowledge of regional language.

·        10+ years Project Management Experience: should have a solid background in project management, preferably with a focus on IT projects. Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and delivering projects successfully is essential.

·        Stakeholder Management: will interact with various stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including active listening, effective communication, and conflict resolution, are required.

·        Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies. Should have experience in risk assessment, contingency planning, and problem-solving to address project issues effectively.

·        Budgeting and Financial Management: Being responsible for project budgets and financials, should have knowledge of budgeting processes, cost estimation, resource allocation, and financial tracking.

·        Communication Skills: As a project manager, will communicate with team members, stakeholders, and executives regularly. Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for presenting project updates, facilitating meetings, and creating project documentation.
